Whatsa big idea?

We are literally the nation’s youth movement for a zero waste today. As we move across the country picking up discarded resources on the side of the road, we learn about the nation’s diversity of people, place, and position. As inheritors of our diverse ecosystems, it’s up to the youth to understand the way we utilize our finite natural resources and create alternative solutions for a future without unnecessary virgin resource extraction.

We stand for zero waste in all aspects of life. Our daily decisions have effects on how much “trash” comes in and out of our lives. That’s why we’ve created Toolkits for the school, office, restaurant, farm, and community center. You can use these toolkits to reduce and maybe eliminate waste in your life. We’re not perfect. We create waste as well, but we try our best to keep learning about ways to make no waste.
